1st Inter School U-17 Children's Chess Championship 2026

A competitive inter-school chess tournament challenging children under 17 to strengthen their strategic thinking for a chance to win a 1g gold coin. Registration deadline is February 6, 2026. Participants must scan the QR code on the flyer to register. Rules and Regulations Eligibility: Pondicherry Schools only All school students must come with their school uniform and ID card Latest rapid fire system will be followed, Rapid time control 10+5 Entry fee will not be refunded Eligibility will be U-17 category, born on or after 01.02.2009 Chess board & chess clocks will be provided by organizers. The decision of the chief arbiter shall be binding on all matters  Participation certificate will be provided to all registrants Spot entry is strictly not allowed This tournament will strictly adhere to the regulations laid down by FIDE, the All India Chess Federation (AICF), and the PSCA. Subject to Pondicherry Jurisdiction only Each age category - top 5 will be awarded with mementos and next 5 places will be awarded with medals.
